Good Morning,

Today I would like to introduce you to another fantastic shop on handmadeartists.com, Thunder Rose Leather.  Debbie and John have been making leather goods for more than 20 years, and their work is beautiful, unique, sturdy, durable and something you will have and use for years.

I must admit it was very difficult to choose just a few items to share today, here are some of my favorites.  No two items are alike, and each one is made when ordered.  Decorated with meticulous care, adorned with beads and fringe, items range from Baby Moccasins and Medicine Bags, to gorgeous Shoulder Purses and other accessories!

Bohemian gypsy handbag Fringed leather handbag with beaded turtle totem

 
Product  Description:  A bohemian gypsy handbag with a beaded turtle totem. This fringed leather cross-body handbag is made of soft and strong elk skin and measures 9 1/2″ tall, 8 1/2″ wide , 2 3/4′” wide and a 48″ braided cross-body shoulder strap. This bag features old style tied fringe all around front and back, an extra pocket inside and a pocket outside on the back.

Product Description: A wolf paw medicine bag with a beaded wolf paw totem. This elkskin leather drawstring pouch is 5″ tall, 4″ wide, has a beaded wolf paw totem and a 30″ neck-strap. Props not included.  This is custom made to order.

Product Description:  These leather baby moccasins are perfect for a newborn. They measure 4″ heel to toe and are made soft elkskin leather. The rainbow beadwork gives them an extra special touch. These beaded baby moccasins make a sweet gift for a new mom and baby and a special keepsake.

 Product Details:  This beaded leather pocketbook case is made of soft, durable elkskin leather. It has an antler button for a closure and glass pony beads for a decoration. This buckskin leather bag is handmade, by us. It is all hand stitched with attention to detail. This leather pocketbook measures 4 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches deep.
This is a made to order item.

Purses, Gris-Gris / Medicine Bags and Baby Moccasins are what she has to offer,  fringed, with beaded embellishments, or natural all are very pretty and well made.

Product Details: This black fringed tote measures 14″ x 14″ x 4″ and 
has a pocket divider inside and a comfortable flat strap for wearing
crossbody. The strap measures 38″. This is a made to order handbag 
so if you would like the strap longer or shorter just email us and we 
would be happy to help you. The leather is deer tanned cowhide. The 
beaded sunflower is beaded by me with glass seed beads and I 
decorated with glass crow beads.
 
 
 
 
Product Details: A fringed leather neckbag. This fringed buckskin 
medicine bag measures 3″ tall, 2″ wide and the fringe is around 
5″ long. It is a nice little neck pouch for your medicines, crystals 
or anything small that you want to keep close.
Product Details:  These beaded baby moccasins are made of soft 
elkskin leather and measure 4″ heel to toe. They are for a baby that 
is newborn to 6 months. What a nice gift for a new mom and baby 
and a big hit at any baby shower. These moccasins are custom made 
to order. Props not included.
